Founder Kristen DeSanto is a Certified Etiquette Instructor and Certified Business Etiquette Consultant through the American Academy of Etiquette (AAOE). She offers engaging, age-appropriate and customized programs covering social and dining etiquette, confident introductions, conversation skills, email and technology etiquette, interview preparation, networking, and professional presence.

Programs are available for individuals, private groups, schools, country clubs, corporations, interns, and new hires throughout the tri-state area. Whether preparing for a first formal dinner, a college interview, an internship, or the workplace, clients leave with confidence and skills they can use for life.

HO HO HO it's Modernly Mannered Monday! I still have openings in 2 classes this week. 4-6 year old 3 week course on Thursday's from 4-5pm and a DINING course on Thursday, Dec. 5th from 6-8 pm for 10-14 year olds. It's Modernly Mannered Monday! It's so fun to teach children the basics of table manners especially when they get it! Like how to hold a fork properly and how to cut properly. It's hard for them because their hands are so tiny. But, at least if they know the right way maybe they'll practice and remember as they get bigger? It's Modernly Mannered Monday and it's that time again to get a group together at my home, your home or a Country Club and let's work on some manners! We do skits on introducing others and we learn the proper handshake, conversation skills, magical words, social media etiquette, PHONE etiquette and Table Manners. Curriculum Tailored to Every Age Group

9th Grade - 12th Grade

Classes for teenagers include lessons on social media etiquette, business introductions, sportsmanship, public speaking, conversation skills, email correspondence, and more.

Preschool - 2nd Grade

Our little learners will master maintaining eye contact, smiling, greetings & goodbyes, manners in public places, table manners and magical words. They will also gain a general understanding of why manners matter.

3rd Grade - 5th Grade

Elementary-level students will learn about the importance of manners. They will learn about polite greetings & goodbyes, table manners, sportsmanship, technology manners, and so much more.

6th Grade - 8th Grade

Classes for pre-teens at Modernly Mannered will cover topics such as handshakes, conversation skills, writing “thank you” notes, social media etiquette, table manners, sportsmanship, and more.
